Are You Allowed to Put Your Own Website Link At The End of Your Hubs and In Your Profile Page?

Providing the Article is not overly promotional and it is only a link to one single Website, is this allowed by the Hubpages terms and conditions?

I'm pretty sure you can.  You can edit profile and there's a spot for it.  And you can just use your RSS feed to your website in your hubs.  It's basically the same thing.  But I'm not 100% sure.

As long as the website is relevant to the hub then you can link to it, you can probably still link to it if not, but then the link won't carry any weight to do your site any good, nor will people be as likely to follow the link. If I'm reading about football I'm not going to be interested in a link to a cricket blog and so on. In your profile page you can link to what you want I believe, it's a space to advertise yourself so if you have a website that's the prime place to let people know.

There is a section on the new profile page where you can add in your own website. So the answer is yes you can. Placing your website on a hub is okay if it is relevant to the hub.

You can do it, the profile link is currently dofollow, although the new style of page has changed it to nofollow, so if you have the new style then the link is worthless from an SEO viewpoint.
The same hasn't been done for hubs, yet anyway.

You can place a link in your hubs provided it is on the same topic and relevant to the hub.

I started adding my website to the bottom of my hubs but I got picked up for irrelevant links so I'm not quite sure on this one. My link had nothing to do with the hub itself so that's probably why. If I had linked to a similar article on my site that may have been ok.

There is a tool where you can put your website and there will be a pic next to your name. It is on the profile tab.
